Carla got ready with her girls and Brocket Hall. In the morning. It was such a great atmosphere and so supportive of Carla. They had a beautiful moment. She revealed her dress to her dad, and then to her bridesmaids, and whilst we waited for her vintage VW camper to arrive. We text them Indoor outdoor photos of sheltering under this archway before heading to the church.
The church ceremony was fantastic, and I especially loved this beautiful moment where the priest asked Carla and James to braid some ribbon, which has a really beautiful visual for the ceremony.
Unfortunately, the rain was coming down so much after the ceremony that we weren’t able to do confetti, and we used the stunning archway of the main church doors for a few family and bridal party photos at the church.
Indoor drinks, reception was accompanied by the beautiful sound of a string Quartet before everyone was seated for dinner.
I love it when Brides gives speeches, so Carla standing up to say a few thank you if you words and thank you before dinner was a fantastic touch which was later followed by the two best man, James himself and colour is made of honour speech.
They had a perfectly perfectly choreographed first dance that was so captivating for the guests before asking everyone to join them on the dancefloor and dancing in the rain. Did let up a little bit and Carla and James took a little moment out on this automated bridge. I think I’ll go look for a few more photos outside
This just goes to show how the vibe and energy on your wedding day is up to you, even though they did not get the sunny summary wedding day that they had been envisioning. They still had the most amazing day. I think you can see that in their faces in the photos.
