Holding onto hope throughout the whole of 2020 that they would get married on their original wedding date. Only for that to be snatched away from them at the last minute.

Postponing

November 21st 2020 – December 21st 2020 – October 30th 2021 – April 18th 2021

A national lockdown was called just days before their original wedding date and first postponement.

They didn’t let that stop them though and powered on with their planning and finally walked down the aisle in April!

The venue

The Farmhouse at Redcoats, a grade II listed barn with beautiful landscaped gardens and manicured lawns.

The high ceiling in the ceremony room is complimented with the most intricate antler chandeliers but it’s the incredible beams that creates the such a warm and intimate atmosphere.

The Ceremony

The room was beautifully lit by soft natural light, a candlelit aisle and fairy lights.

There was so much love filling the room and that’s before I even mention the emotive speech Sarahs sister gave.

Yes, I cried too.

Finally Married

Walking out hand in hand as husband and wife, followed by their closest family and friends, making their way outside and into the sunshine for drinks, a bbq and of course some cake!

We finished off the day with some newly wed portraits. In the sunshine just as it was starting to set.

I have been speaking to Sarah and Chris about their wedding since mid 2019, they we so incredible navigating this past year, keeping organised with their plans and most importantly staying positive.

It’s been a long road and I am over the moon to see them finally married and so happy together.

Congratulations Sarah and Chris, I am so happy for you!
